Who we are
Review Atlas is run by Travis George (“we”, “us”), trading as Volibar, in Ireland. You can reach us at support@reviewatlas.gg.
What you’re buying
A Review Atlas of your game’s Steam reviews: every review of the game or games on your quote, in every language, read and coded into themes, with every figure about the reviews linked to the reviews behind it. You get the Atlas as an interactive file and a short written summary of what we found.
We collect the reviews on the day we run your Atlas, so it covers every review that exists then, including any posted after your quote, at no extra charge.
The figures describe what reviewers wrote. They are not sales, revenue or player numbers, and we don’t present them as such.
Price and payment
Your price is the one on your quote. It is worked out from the game’s review count on the day you get the quote, and held for 72 hours. Prices are in US dollars and before tax; VAT or sales tax is added at checkout where it applies. At checkout, Stripe may offer to charge you in your own currency, at its exchange rate. Until the end of 15 October 2026, US Pacific time, a launch price applies: a game’s base price is $199 instead of $299. A quote made by then keeps its launch price for its 72 hours.
Payment is handled by Stripe through Link, which is the seller of record for the payment: it takes the payment, handles VAT, sends your receipt and deals with payment questions. Link’s own terms cover the payment itself. These terms cover the Atlas.
Delivery
We usually email your Atlas to the address you paid with within 5 working days of payment. That is a target, not a guarantee: the work depends on Steam and on the AI services we use, and either can slow it down. If your Atlas is going to be late, we’ll tell you and give you a new date.
Rush delivery. When rush delivery is offered at checkout and you choose it, we email your Atlas within 48 hours of payment. It costs 25% of your price, and at least $99 ($49 until the end of 15 October 2026, US Pacific time); you see the exact fee before you pay. If we miss the 48 hours, we refund the rush fee and deliver your order as a standard one.
If we haven’t delivered within 30 days of your payment, you can cancel for a full refund.
Refresh credits
Refresh credits are sold to organisations with a Review Atlas Enterprise page. A credit is one refresh of a Review Atlas you have bought, of any game and any number of reviews: we collect every review of the game again, read the new and changed reviews against your Atlas’s themes, and put the rebuilt Atlas on your page, beside every earlier version. One credit costs $249, and five cost $995, before tax. A comparison Atlas of two games takes one credit.
When it arrives. Pressed before 6pm Irish time, a refresh is delivered by midnight Irish time two days later; pressed from 6pm, the two days start the next day. Your page shows the date before you press. If we miss it, we refund half of what that credit cost, and the refresh still arrives.
How long they last. Credits last a year from the day you buy them, and the oldest are used first. Each credit you buy also takes 10% off one new Review Atlas bought from your page within 90 days of buying the credit: one discount per Atlas, taken off the Atlas’s price and not a rush fee, and never combined with another.
Refunds. Credits are not refunded, used or unused, apart from the half we refund when we miss a refresh’s delivery date. This doesn’t take away any right to cancel that the law gives you.
Cancelling and refunds
- Within 24 hours of paying: cancel for a full refund.
- After that, until we deliver: cancel for a 50% refund. By then the work on your Atlas is under way and its costs are spent.
- Rush orders: work starts as soon as you pay, so a rush order cancelled before we deliver is refunded 50%, with no full-refund period.
- After we deliver: no refund for a change of mind. If the Atlas has a defect, we fix it (below).
To cancel, email support@reviewatlas.gg. Refunds go back to the way you paid, tax included. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law.
If something is wrong
An Atlas has a defect if:
- it covers the wrong game, or isn’t in the form you ordered (two separate Atlases or one comparison);
- it leaves out a game on your order;
- for any game, it covers fewer than 95% of the reviews on your quote, which is the count your price was set from. Steam’s count and the reviews Steam actually hands over can differ slightly, so a small gap is normal, and reviews posted after your quote don’t count towards it;
- a number in the Atlas doesn’t equal the number of reviews it opens when you click it, or the reviews it opens aren’t the ones that number counts; or
- the file doesn’t open in a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.
Tell us at support@reviewatlas.gg within 14 days of delivery and we’ll fix it within 5 working days. If we can’t fix it, we’ll refund you in full.
These are not defects: disagreeing with how an individual review was coded, or with our reading of the results; reviews posted after we collected them; and Steam’s own counts changing afterwards. Every figure about the reviews links to the reviews behind it, so you can see exactly how it was reached.
Using your Atlas
It’s yours to use in your studio and to share, publicly too. It quotes public Steam reviews as their authors wrote them, so please don’t present those reviews as anyone else’s words.
Your Atlas isn’t exclusive. The reviews are public, and we may use the same games, reviews and our analysis of them in other Atlases and in a library of Atlases that others can access.
A Review Atlas is information, not advice
An Atlas tells you what your game’s reviewers wrote, counted and checked. It is information to help you make your own decisions. It is not professional, business, legal or financial advice, and it doesn’t tell you what to do.
What you do with it is your decision. We are not responsible for decisions you make or actions you take based on an Atlas, or for their results, and we don’t promise any outcome: not better reviews, more players or more sales.
The reviews are other people’s words. We report what reviewers say, not whether it is true. AI models read and code each review under our method, the coding is checked, and every figure about the reviews links to the reviews behind it, so you can check any of it yourself. How a single review is coded is a judgement, and you may read one differently; that is not a defect. A figure that doesn’t match the reviews behind it is, and we fix it (see “If something is wrong”).
Our liability
We do this work carefully. Our total liability for an order is limited to what you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue or opportunities. These limits apply as far as the law allows: they don’t limit liability that can’t legally be limited, or rights you have as a consumer.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version in place on the day you paid applies to your order. Irish law applies; if you are a consumer, you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live.
How we handle your email address and order: privacy policy.
