So glad I started to play! I'm going to waste my life away playing this game.

This game has been such a huge part of my life for so many years now and I am so grateful for all the friends and memories I've made because of this game. With the news that the vaulted content is returning and that there is a future for the Destiny franchise, I couldn't recommend it more to anyone interested in the genre.

Destiny 2 is one of those games where if you never played on launch then you aren't making it far. The game does not hold your hand and the missions get confusing fast. Things like puzzles are never explained either, so you're forced to find someone who knows them, or spend an hour on google trying to learn whole new languages. Combat feels ok, but majority is a sensory overload with how many lights, enemies, and explosions are on the screen at once. PVE is a blast when playing with friends, but PVP is a downright nightmare. You got people running around and one hitting new players before they even get the chance to play. Its a cool space RPG, but not exactly the "only game you'd ever need," like some claim. It basically relies on you already knowing how to do something rather than teaching you. So if you queue with other people you are going to be lost 99% of the time. I don't hate it, but there is far too much reading involved to the point you are playing a visual novel instead of an FPS action adventure. My biggest gripe of all boils down to dedication. You have to grind this game nonstop for years just to get decent loot if you want to stand a chance. And for that reason it feels like digital chores instead of a game.
