Buying this game i was taken aback, loading up origins and seeing the load in screen, all the visuals and new features of the warrior series has been so reminiscent. My dad and i used to play the warriors series when i was a kid and i have to say it brings a tear to my eye as i know he would love to see this game. it has new and older elements i have always looked for in this series. Once i saw the video of this game i was awestruck honestly. i had to try the demo of course, that was just as immersive as all the hours iv put into this game over the years. It was exactly what i was looking for. for any of the older warriors fans or new fans that dont know it yet i say PLAY THIS! looking forward to playing the DLC as well! impatiently waiting for dw3 remaster to come out in a few days also!

You play this game for the power trip and this game still delivers! Let‛s start with the good parts: - the addition of the parry and just evade mechanics to the gameplay was very good! And the characters bounces way much less like in other DW games. - the music rocks, DW-style! - customizing special moves to each battle made the combat feel fresh every time. I just wish they could have more changes after mastering them. - the visuals, camera angles and face expressions are damn good. - when you charge at the enemy with your army, it made me feel like I was there! And there is the bad parts: - since the story happens before the three kingdoms are formed, there is a lack of characters. - most of the time (99%) you play only as the protagonist. It could have a custom mode where you pick any character to play. - some characters are not wielding their trademark weapon which is a bit weird - this game is pricey =/

not as fun playing as 1 char, less weapons, putting 4 different types of spears to not have to do the other weapons is just lazy. making lubu stupid hard isnt fun, its not a fun fight. you will do 5 conversations and cut scenes before having the next fight, just makes it a story game and less of a battle game like it used to be.
