This game is so much fun with friends, I just wish black hawk down had checkpoints because I cant make it past part 2, but maybe I just suck at the game.

Fun game. Just too many cheaters. Which I honestly think is just an industry problem, and is definitely not isolated to just this game, but it sucks when the gamemode you play requires you to join a region of the world, just to find players, that is prone to cheaters. And yes, there are LOTS of cheaters, even in the NA EU regions. For a free to play game though, its fun, plus you would run into cheaters playing paid games anyway. Cheaters just suck. Is what it is.

After all the hype around this game, I finally gave it a shot. I played the original Delta Force back when some of today's gamers weren't even a bad idea yet. So I thought to myself: "Well grandpa, you're 20 years older now, surely the game is 20 years better too." Full of optimism, I waited for my wife to leave for a weekend tea party with her friends, grabbed a coffee, sat down at the PC, and prepared for greatness. What I got instead was a lesson in disappointment. I still remember the old campaign. Those were the days. Simple, fun, and hard to stop playing. This new one seems obsessed with realism, except not the fun kind. It's the kind where somebody shoots you from a bush, a rooftop, a window, or perhaps another dimension, and you never even see who did it. If you want realism, go all in. If you want fun, go all in. This game somehow misses both targets with remarkable accuracy. The multiplayer didn't save it either. The whole thing feels like it desperately wanted to knock Battlefield 2042 off its chair but forgot to bring a chair of its own. One minute it's pretending to be a serious tactical shooter, the next it's trying to be a fast-paced arcade fragfest. The result is an awkward identity crisis where nobody seems quite sure what game they are actually playing. Maybe younger players will see something I don't. After 40 years of gaming I've learned that graphics get better, sound gets better, and marketing gets much louder, but gameplay is still king. Unfortunately, this king seems to have wandered off and left the throne empty. Honestly, even if this game were free, I wouldn't install it again. I'd rather give the money to the kids and let them buy some candy. At least with candy you know exactly what you're getting. I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS GAME.
