NBA street vol. 2 is my favorite game of all time. Played it as a kid for thousands of hours. Nba the run has the bones to be that game. You can tell the dev team cares a lot about their product. The tweaks from launch have been phenomenal. There are current flaws that need to be pointed out. Yes, there’s no single player. Yes. There’s no split screen. Yes, the game is still at infancy with not a lot of features. But so far with every update, the dev team has made this game a better product. The actual 3 on 3 game is exciting and that’s what matters most. I have full faith that with enough time we’ll get all that we are wishing for. I’ve gotten more patient over the years so maybe I’m in the minority here. With all that said, I still think this game is worth a purchase. Grab a buddy to play online with and enjoy the ride.

So i dont want to give this game a thumbs down but i have to. I have played basketball video games basically since birth and i always wanted a nba street style online game. This game gave me that a little bit more then i wanted. Theres no tutorial, no story mode, no depth besides 3v3 king of the court style tournaments. it didnt take me long to realize that the other people in the tournaments arent even at the same point at the tournament as i am so it makes it feel kind of pointless? Theres no ranked mode so your basically playing 1 game mode and 1 caliber of player at all time or bots. But what really made me give this game a thumbs down was the community. I had fun just a little after the release of the new patch as thats when i bought the game and i decided to go onto the discord to try and find some people to play with. The people are very tight nit and truthfully a lot of trolls. The devs seem to be hearing what everyone is saying but from the time i bought the game to the time im writting this review there has been little to no changes, except a minor nerf to shoves. I say all this to say in the year of 2026 GO PLAY ANYTHING ELSE!!!!!!!
