Very addictive game with a great modding community. Learning to play the game at a good level and beating deity with most leaders was nearly a full-time job, as a beginner to the series. After beating the game with every leader, I think there's still a lot of learn, optimize and get better at. The unique flavor of the civs is more pronounced here imo and it lets me play with unique gameplay styles, which is why I prefer this over other establishments in this series. The best/worst part of the game is remembering the bonuses with district placement, but can be rewarding in its own way once you remember them with practice. The soundtrack is one to die for, with all the different ages, and civs having different themes which evolve with the era. Late-game yields and clean culture wins, and world building videos are picturesque. The animated characters, and maps are neat for me, though I know most others don't like it as much. Civ6 sits as a must-play and a solid entry if you want to get into the 4X genre, and can pay its own worth with hours of gameplay, especially if you're one to explore, try out multiple strategies and game modes, and play with the "Just more turn" mentality

Possibly the greatest Civ game ever made. I've put many hundreds of hours in Civ III, IV, and V but this is the crown jewel of the series. Gameplay, graphics, political structure, AI, are all extremely good. Music is also top tier. Scenarios are solid and civs/leaders are mostly well designed. Base game is great but do yourself a favor and get the DLC and Leader pass with it, if you're a Civ diehard like me you will not be disappointed. Worth every penny. 10/10 would recommend

Overall your game plan builds on abuses that u cant even search info about in the game (e.g. district cost calculation, district discounts, workers cost calculation, etc.). Basically, you have almost no decisions in both science and cultural trees - u have to play the most optimal play every game Game is not bad, but only with friends or 10 h solo. Civ 5 just better in terms of balance and decision-making situations
