Brawlhalla is quite possibly the worst game ever imaginable. Every match feels like the developers personally decided that having fun was illegal. You can get launched across the entire map by someone who appears to have mastered the ancient art of sig spamming, while your characater somehow refuses to pick up the weapon you are standing directly on top of. The hitboxes feel like they were designed by someone who has never seen a hitbox before, and somehow the opponent always has exactly enough health to survive a perfect sig. Then you lose, stare at the screen in rage and disbelief on how you lost when you were up 2 stocks, and then immediately queue up for another match because apparently suffering is addictive. Brawlhalla is not a fighting game it is a test of patience, anger management, and how many times you can say "HOW DID THAT HIT ME?" before giving up. This game is like an abusive relationship it beats you till you leave but you come back because it ♥♥♥♥♥ you so good.

After playing Brawlhalla for a very long time, I am officially deleting it for good. This game has devolved into an unplayable, frustrating mess. What used to be a fun platform fighter is now completely overrun by toxic players and a community that thrives on making the experience miserable. Because there is no voice chat, the toxicity just bleeds into the gameplay itself, and the lack of communication makes matches feel incredibly isolating. The balance is non-existent. If you are queuing late at night, the game feels completely dead. when you finally find a match, it forces you against either bots or the same toxic, sweaty players. It doesn't matter if you are fighting rookies or veteran players anymore everyone just spams heavy signatures (Sigs) because the core combat mechanics are broken. The developers have completely run out of creative ideas. Instead of fixing the stale gameplay, they force out clunky additions like Battle Boots and trash new legends like Qinghua & Baobao and other new characters. I used to defend this game to my friends, but now I see exactly why every single one of them quit playing. It is free-to-play for a reason save your sanity and don't waste your time downloading it.
