Super addictive and deeper than you'd expect. I've played tons of colony builders and the like, and the two most addictive ones that captured me for hours is TAB and this one. Though, Factorio has been threatening to for a while now also. Anyway, for those not sure about it being deeper and more intricate than it appears, you can give your colonists tubal ligations. And upon trying to move your colony from one area to another, someone can just accidently drop and forget their baby until it dies alone on the plains of Maximum Girth. (My colony's name FIY) Or you can scan a man to death in a machine, putting their brain essentially into a sphere, and then you can use said sphere to give intelligence to these better kind of robots which can do some important work for you. (Biotech DLC FIY) You know, comedy gold. You can also take the ovum from an of-age female in your colony, put it in a dark corner of your storage buildings in the back of your storage building corner in the back of a dimly lit row of shelves behind the wood and marble and granite that you use for more storage, have one of your most deplorable sickos in your colony go back and jerk-off into the ovum, (that's actually what is implied is happening in the game FIY), and then you can take it and either insert it into a test tube for growing humans or inseminate any healthy female colonist you have with it and then maybe she'll successfully become pregnant and have a healthy baby. MAYBE. So, it might still be a kid's game. I don't know. I'm not the best judge of things like that, but I have put in an ungodly amount of time in the last two weeks sucking all the marrow out the bones of what is here, and it's a lot of marrow to suck. Like, a treasure trove of sucking to be had here. I really only have the Biotech DLC for now, and it's a sweet one, but I am looking to get more in the near future. Part of me wants it all. The biggest part wants the Anomaly horror one, but according to consensus me and my longtime friends Gemini and Chad GPT did research on, the best for just beefing out your game, adding 2X meat to your almost vanilla playthrough, would be Ideology. So I watched the trailer for it and liked the pretty colors and the scene where your colony all dances to some speakers pumping out some jams. I like more customization for my little freaks. So this caught my attention. I guess there's more to it than that, but for an intellect such as my own, that was all I needed. Although, the others all vie for my attention. I really would like a video store to be able to add though. I mean, I don't know how that would benefit anyone in my colony, but I just want to be able to add one. That and a ♥♥♥♥♥ house. Anyway, good game. The next Farmville or whatever without the Facebook and actually delivers on the promise of weird ♥♥♥♥♥♥-up gameplay on top of incredibly tight, well-written and explained systems that you naturally discover how to use and best how to implement at a pace which is neither too fast or slow. As a longtime self-proclaimed "HARDCORE GAMER", I give this game a super sought after imaginary sticker of a seal of genuine chewy and addictive sim-ish, (like the Sims, but without the crippling stress FIY) and Sim City-ish, blah blah blah ... It's good. If you're even slightly interested in the genre, it worth playing. I may be late to the party here, but it's a party where everyone comes to my party, because it's in my mouth and your mom's there. That kind of thing. The real ones know what I'm talking about. ; ) Will play until I'm bored of it. The end.
