this game is so insanely good even in early access its hard to put into words, the combat is very smooth on both keyboard and controller, the graphics are amazing, the soundtrack for the game is really great too. I think this is a 10/10 video game for me. I am not one to play rhythm games or beat em ups on their own but I just cannot find a fault that makes me not want to reccomend this game to people. When I am playing I have a smile on my face its just that fun

Doesn’t really work as a rhythm game. There’s too many unexpected level elements with bosses that I can’t react to in time or that were never covered in the tutorial. The attacks autolock onto the beat so you don’t have to actually press the buttons on beat. There’s too many elements going on, too many little enemies on screen. If you don’t press Y or A at the right time, you’re down a life. Multiple of these can happen at the same time. Overall I felt like I couldn’t get out of my head and enjoy the music like I can with other rhythm games. Trying to combine the fighting mechanics with boss battles just doesn’t work. It makes for a poor rhythm games that doesn’t reward skill in the same way as other rhythm games, and where the flow is missing.
