I'm in the beginning of chapter 3 act 2 at the tme of writing this, I really dislike the current chapter. Chapter 1 was okay. Chapter 2 was content I really enjoyed. I have VERY few complains about Chapter 2 in general. Many areas have great background music and great storytelling. At times the game holds your hand way too much like the new Wolverine game and at times you get to know what to do but not how to do it. In story quests the devs love giving you ♥♥♥♥ "gear" so bosses seem harder just for you to find out that once the boss beats you down to 1 hp you are unkillable. It makes me feel like ♥♥♥♥ that they force me to lose just to force me to win afterwards. It's a slap in the face saying: "You didn't play well enough with the ♥♥♥♥ gear we gave you after you upgraded your own gear, but we'll let it slide". At the time of writing this i find Chapter 3 buggy, tedious, less immersive and a downgrade in every way to chapter 2. I hope upcoming updates don't feel like the content I'm currently at. I must however give it a positive review because my pc is old and the game's optimization has me more than satisfied and I enjoyed the game quite a lot for a game that i didn't need to pay for. I need to say that It feels like they made a checklist of many bad interactions in chapter 1 and 2 and decided to include all that in chapter 3. The worst by far is that your character has severe obsessive compulsory disorder to start wall-running on every object you remotely touch and there are a lot of objects. Your wings used for exploration are replaced with a motorcycle that feels unresponsive and clunky. I will however, most likely continue playing with the hope that the later acts in chapter 3 save it or maybe even that chapter 4 is back up to the standard of chapter 2.

Recommended626 hours playedEnglishPlayed the absolute ♥♥♥♥ out of this game, the combat mechanics are just soo addicting especially the satisfaction you get by doing a successful dodge or parry, currently I've completed every hologram in the highest difficulty and honestly had soo much fun completing those challenges, just makes me want more combat based challenges in the future. The exploration has to be the best part about this game, for me personally. I love how each area is just soo beautiful in its own way and paired with the music, it just makes me take my hand off my keyboard and admire. The exploration techs that this game offers are good aswell, one of the reasons why exploring a region never gets boring. The Music and Visuals are just absoulutely fantastic. Yes, the cinematics are amazing and a work of art but a majority of what makes the specific scene hit and makes it soo powerful is the Music itself. I never expected a gacha game to actually overwhelm me with soo many emotions and bring me to the verge of crying ( looking at you 3.1 and 3.3 ) This brings me to my next point the Characters and the story, the characters themselves are very well designed and each character has a different personality to them which i like. Gameplay wise most of the characters are very fun to use and have smooth and beautiful animations which makes skipping characters very heartbreaking as they all have such beautiful designs. The story as I saw just kept getting better and better and the more I progressed it felt like I was playing a different game entirely and honestly I wasnt expecting much at first, I came after seeing the Cyberpunk collab and just thought that after pulling Lucy I would be done with this game but after progressing through the main quest farming astrites I found myself hooked to the story and here I am 600 hours in trying to squeeze just a little more content that this game can offer, no Lucy but atleast I got to enjoy this Gem of a game. Now.. No game is perfect and each game has its flaws, I dislike the gacha system and losing a 50/50 is just devastating especially when you've spent hours exploring and farming for a specific character all to be met with a martial artist monk. Honestly, when I first lost a 50/50 was on the Lucy banner and I didnt know what the 50/50 system actually was, so I was confused af when my Lucy was a man. At the end of the day it is a Gacha game, so I knew what I was getting myself into so can't be mad about that, also devs need the money to release new peak patches but, I still wish that there was no gacha system at all. Atleast the weapons are guaranteed there's that but, with new upcoming patches it just feels that all the new characters are very signature dependant and also what is a guaranteed weapon when you dont even have enough to pull the character itself. For reference, I have Jingran but couldn't get his sig cause i wanted Iuno and Lucilla in the coming banner, now without his signature weapon he's not completely useless cause Iuno is his Best in slot but, if I dont get Iuno he's just a brick in my account until he reruns and i pull his weapon and God knows when Iuno gonna get another rerun cause they might just cause another Shorekeeper. Gacha system aside, there's one thing I absolutely hate from the bottom of my soul and its the echo tuning like how much more frustrating can this be. Farming for echoes to get better substats is genuinely a pain in the ass, unless you just wanna play the story and dont care if your character doesn't have like 80 crit rate or 280 crit damage stats, particularly important for endgame modes. Like after losing a 50/50, that wasn't enough that I now have the most esteemed opportunity to lose on echo substats as well, nice. Also, what's up with transducers being locked behind paywalls or a 60 afterglow coral redeem when i can literally get better redeem options like extra sequence nodes or extra pulls (also its not guaranteed that you're guaranteed a usable substat when using a transducer which makes it even more ♥♥♥♥). Typing this made me pop another vessel just thinking about my 3 cost echo farming where hours of farming and causing mass extinction of glommoths gave me zilch usable echoes for my Hiyuki, oh you want crit and res lib? Here you go def and hp like c'mon man ugghhh. I hope they make some changes where atleast the odds of getting a good mainstat for an echo is higher then getting a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mainstat like healing bonus for dps characters or just make transducers more accessible cause it is actual pain to be farming for hours and have to go through two rng dependent walls ( mainstat and substat ) and in the end all that work was just a complete waste of time when I could be 100% Silksong or any other game! Other than that I think the game is absoulutely amazing and I love the constant improvement they've shown in the game, this game is literally perfect if you remove the Gacha system also cause Iuno's there. Personally I don't see myself going away from this game anytime soon. Amazing Characters, Amazing Music, Stunning Visuals, Great Story it literally is just a work of art. Thank you Solon for making such an amazing game. If you like mindlessly farming for better stats cause you're into it or you like the pain from losing a gacha 50/50 well now, do I have a game for you. Also global filter is the GOAT.

Okay, I wasn't going to do this but Kuro Games is literally forcing my hand. First of all, I'm so tired of how this game started as a Genshin competitor with a diverse cast of characters, but now it's another waifu collecting game with a low quality fanservice. During Lahai-Roi I started to hope that we're past this and the story doesn't need to rely on waifus to sell, but it's been 9 releases between 2 male characters. We have 41 limited characters SIX OF WHICH ARE MEN. This is insane. WuWa is trying to be a serious game with a serious plot, but you enter a room and there's 10 women and 0 men which just ruins the immersion. It's ridiculous. People pull for male characters. People pay a lot of money to pull their husbandos! But we reached the point where we keep getting the same types of girls in skimpy outfits (hello, Qingxiao aka Hiyuki 2.0 but dull). Next, the story got a lot worse after the Lahai-Roi saga. We're back to being a cheerleader for the boring cast of characters that makes no sense. The only charismatic and interesting character since Mengzhou started was Jingran--and YET he received barely scraps in the story that was practically tailored for him, in his home region and with the villain whom he had a personal grudge against. Yangyang (no one's favorite character with awful voice acting) got SP, but all the old characters who deserved to be in the story much more got nothing at all: no sign of Yao who would has been perfect for the region, Qiuyuan appeared for like 5 seconds, Danjin was lucky enough to get a side-quest, but Mortefi got only a tiny random daily. The incoming spending event with the Shorekeeper who hasn't had a rerun in more than a year? A joke. It's like Kuro Games are trying to annoying players who don't have her weapon or her sequences. And it's not the first time they pulled something like this too. The events? Are the same combat event every single patch. No story events, no management, no dates, no games. I yell about all these issues every single survey, but there's zero reaction, zero improvement for more than a year. We get the same reruns every few versions (Chisa, Iuno and Lynae) while fan favorite characters like Qiuyuan, Augusta, Camellya, Carlotta, Shorekeeper, Lupa etc get NOTHING. And today was the cherry on top: Kuro Games replaced a normal download method via Steam with their god awful launcher. The thing that I was trying to avoid by playing on Steam. Who on Earth even asked for this??? Steam is much faster and much more straightforward, and I don't care how you're trying to "improve" my experience. I was fine! I didn't ask for this obligatory update, but now all Steam players are forced to play the game of launching the launchers. Nobody asked for this. But Kuro still decided to do it instead of addressing any of the actual issues the game has. Listen, I've been playing since beta. I always advocated for this game and I want nothing but success for WuWa. I love the main character, I love the music and the visuals, the combat is fun (when I'm not forced to do the same combat events and end-game content every single version), I've spent a disgusting amount of money on this game trying to support the developers and get my favorite boys and girls BUT it's the last straw. I'm done with this game until it starts doing better.
