The most immediate and obvious problem is the price tag and release timing. $50 does feel high, especially considering Phantom Blade Zero releasing later today for only $10 more and looks to be an incredible game. So if price/money is a concern then its completely understandable to pass until a sale or at least wait for people to get far enough in to see if there's lots of value. All that said, I really like this kind of game. Getting dropped into a zone to explore, fight creatures and find loot to upgrade your weapons and gear is a gameplay loop that just hits hard for me. It reminds me of Raid Mode in the Resident Evil Revelations games which I also think is the best minigame Capcom ever made (and I wish they'd revisit...). The characters are typical anime nonsense which is fine for me as the story and concept is interesting enough as a backdrop. Anomalies and weirdness pop up and engulf an area which you need to explore for research and, if possible, rescue survivors. It also seems to take ideas from SCP (or an Asian equivalent?) with certain items being discovered and having strange qualities to them like the "doomsday clock" counting down how much time the world has left (at least that's what they believe). My only concern early on is longevity. The save file says 12% and I literally only did the tutorial level and a tiny bit of the second area. Dunno how they're calculating that percentage but I will be quite annoyed if this winds up being a short game with limited replay value.

Steam’s top-ranked review for and against the game in these 7 days, in English. Votes as they stood when this map was made.
The game itself is rather good. Nice mix of Resident Evil and your typical anime tropes. However I will be putting this down as a negative review. Because of the price itself. Currently in the UK this game costs £49.99 on Steam. (Without the -10% off) On the Playstation store. The game currently costs without discount £39.99. I rarely, see full price titles on Console be cheaper than PC. I don't understand why the price is this high. While the game is enjoyable, I do not believe anyone should pay for this at full price.
