What can I say about this, it is PUBG, and it is fun with friends. Solo is tiring, and I think I never played a solo game after playing together with my friend. Got boring real quick, but due to the lack of other games to play, we spent 60 hours. Have a gang? Go ahead and try it, you will have fun. Trying to get into it solo? You might not enjoy it as much, but what's wrong with trying. Game doesn't run on Linux, no native or no wine/proton support.

PUBG lacks the fast-paced, arcade-style feel of Fortnite or Call of Duty: Warzone, but it makes up for this with a gritty atmosphere, realism, and a massive adrenaline rush in the final zones. Today, it stands as one of the most mature tactical shooters on the market.

I’ve played PUBG since 2018 and have over 4,000 hours in this game, so this isn’t coming from someone who played for a few hours and quit. It honestly sucks to see what PUBG has become. Cheaters and hackers are still everywhere. You run into obvious wallhacks, aimbots, suspicious players, and somehow this has been a problem for years. Bugs, crashes, bad optimization, desync and random issues keep coming back, but instead of seriously improving the game, it feels like most of the effort goes into new skins, crates, passes and other ways to get players to spend money. And the gameplay decisions lately… I honestly don’t even know what they’re trying to do anymore. A lot of updates feel unnecessary, poorly thought out, or like they’re changing things just for the sake of changing them instead of fixing what actually matters. PUBG used to have something special. That’s why I stayed with it for more than 4,000 hours. I’ve supported this game for years and made a lot of good memories playing it. But the longer I play, the worse it feels. More skins, more monetization, more pointless updates — while cheating, bugs and core gameplay problems are still there. After playing since 2018, I never thought I’d say this, but I can’t recommend PUBG anymore. The game deserves better than the direction it’s going right now.
